PRISM is not a compliance standard and does not offer any compliance verification although we do differentiate, through our membership levels, those businesses that have invested in an independent compliance verification for their business. The Association has 3 levels of membership available: Member, Associate Member and Accredited Member.
Members can be any organisation that operates and provides services within the sector. Their business no independent verification of compliance although they have signed up to the PRISM Code of Ethics.
These members are invited to members meetings and events but are unable to put themselves forward for election to the Executive Committee. They can however feed their views in to the committee through liaison with either the Chief Executive Officer or the relevant committee representative.
Associate members are members who have an independent compliance verification covering part of their business offerings.
Associate members confirm their acceptance to the PRISM Code of Ethics for all aspects of their business offerings.
Associate members can put themselves forward for election to the Executive Committee but only in relation to positions that align to the element of their business that holds the independent compliance verification.
An accredited member is a member who has an independent compliance verification that must cover all aspects of their business including, where relevant, associated businesses and/or third party organisations where referrals are made.
Accredited members must also sign up and accept the PRISM Code of Ethics.
Accredited members can put themselves forward for election to any position within the Executive Committee.
